The Bay Area Rx-7 Club established in 1981, our membership is drawn from the greater San Francisco Peninsula and east bay metropolitan area. We also have members from outside the immediate area. The common denominator is ownership and/or interest in Rx-7s and RX-8s. The club is open to all owners of Rx7s, RX-8s and rotary engine enthusiasts.
Our members own models which range from bone-stock to highly modified (400 hp), 1979's to 1995's.
The club holds events throughout the year: autocrosses, scenic and wine-tasting tours, social events (dinners), and technical sessions. We assist each other in working on our respective cars.
There is no national Rx7 club, so all activities and meetings are held in or originate in the Bay Area. Tours and overnight events are usually reached as a caravan. This makes the trips more fun when there are a number of Rx7's traveling together.
